LBx Connect is committed to the privacy and security of your personal information. We designed to be a platform of interaction for the community of location applications, products and services companies and interested parties. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information.

Collection, Sharing and Usage:

We collect four types of information: personal information for account administration and billing purposes; public profile information (company and individual), which is personal information that you knowingly choose to disclose and share with the LBx Community; non-personal information; and company information for a Virtual RFP/RFI.

Personal Information:
When you register to become an LBx member we collect your name, company/organization, title, job responsibility, location information (city level or higher location place name), contact information including email, mailing address, and phone number, username and password. We collect credit card information solely for the purpose of processing payment; we do not store your credit card information. When you register for eNews we collect your email address.
We do not share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Personal information submitted to us is only available to employees or contractors administrating the system and managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.

Public Profile Information:
When you complete a public profile we collect the information that you knowingly provide which may include name, company/organization, title, phone, email, LinkedIn contact, Twitter contact, photo, and personal bio. This information is published to the LBx community and available to any member of LBx to see. When an employee registers a company for a Marketplace membership, in addition to the individual public profile information collected above, we may collect company and business description, company website, and customers and clients.

Members may comment on articles, and exchange ideas publicly with the community in the Question portion of the MyLBx Dashboard. We use this information to better understand the needs of the community and provide more tailored products and services.

Non-personal Information:
We may also collect anonymous or “non-personal” information, such as demographic information (your profession, title, industry, ZIP code, etc.), and technical information (your IP address, type of browser you are using, etc.). We use this non-personal information to analyze how our website is being used, and to improve the content of our website, online product offerings, and marketing and promotional efforts. We reserve the right to use or disclose non-personal information, as we deem appropriate. We use cookies solely for the purposes of recognizing a returning user when the user is logged into LBx (for example a user logs into LBx and leaves the site or closes the browser, if the user returns to LBx the user will be recognized (the user does not need to login again.) When the user logs out, the cookie is cleared.

Company Information:
When a member completes a Virtual RFP/RFI we collect the information provided by the member including company type, interest in type of location solution, business situation including problem to address, business requirements, departments required, budget and timeframe, deadline and contact information. This company information is reviewed by LBx staff and shared with appropriate members of the LBx community for the purposes of recommending appropriate solutions and companies to meet the member’s needs.

E-mail Communications:

We may send you email messages pertaining to LBx Connect to notify you of site activation, news, special offers, or appropriate companies in response to your Virtual RFP/RFI request. At any time, you may opt-out of receiving such communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided at the bottom of any email that you receive from us.

How We Protect Your Privacy:

We use reasonable security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. We do not store credit card information.

Changes to this Policy:
